*PechaKucha Heraklion

PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in 2003 by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.

The PechaKucha Night in Heraklion, Crete is organised by the architects Kallia Platyrrachou and Olga Koutantou in collaboration with Roesink and Spyros Zevelakis of The very successful first night took place on 16 April 2011, vol#02 took place on 9 September 2011. PechaKucha Heraklion vol#03 is planned on 9 September 2012, and focuses on team work. Thirteen creative teams-speakers will talk about things that interest them, and Kollektivemind* is one of them! See you there!
